I don't totally understand. I do not have Win7 so if you are unable to follow maybe HELP will explain better. I would check 2 things. 1) Your startup programs. (usally start/run/msconfig)2) Check your mouse connection & senitivity. If it is too sensitive you may accidentally be touching something causing your Pictures to open. Or you can even try doing a Google or Microsoft search with that condition. Good luck.

Try what he said- I know nothing about puters(wish I did) That must be very frustrating- the only time I get pictures is when I click on them for FB or mail.

And it can't be the mouse because it happens even when I'm not doing anything on the computer. Just have explorer open. But thanks anyway. I'll try doing a microsoft search and maybe I can find something out. I did a virus scan and it didn't show anything.

Another thing you may try. Delete temp. Windows files. Not just browser cache. It does sound quite off. You shouldn't need to, but maybe also try doing a disk defrag. LMK what you find I'm curious. Waiting on Win10 before looking into new OS.

I asked for windows 7 because I heard many people complain about win 8 and I didn't want that.

I understand that. I have Vista Bus. Ed. Mainly b/c HP had screwed up a pc on me and built me a brand new one. Win7 had just come out, but since I had XP Pro. they gave me Vista Bus. Had I understood all the particulars of Vista I would have asked for Ultimate. Eventhough I coul dhave upgraded it would have cost me. So I just used it. Now more things are at least Win7 compatible vs. Vista. But instead of going back I figure I may as well make the move forward. Anyway, enjoy your trip.

I deleted the temp windows file as someone suggested and it worked. No problems now.
