AOL mail problem - any one that has AOL mail ever have this problem : just the envelope appears-no subject line-error message-unable to reply at all AOL will attempt to fix comes up-it doesn't -in the past this has happened 2 other times-The only way that I got it to correct was try a new version add on--this worked in the past but not now- I downloaded 9.7 -no change- so I deleted back to 9.6. Been trying all day to find a cure with no luck. Cleared the cache- no change. I can go to web mail AOL & no problem but I like the old way- wish I could get it back.

Ran several programs- computer is faster- but mail problem the same- seems I can't find a way to correct this- maybe they want every one to use the web mail.

I've been using the web based mail. Don't like it as much, but it loads faster. I'll try the other later today to see if it will still work for me. I don't know that I will get any insight to what might be happening for you or not. Sorry this is a problem, Bertie.

Thanks for looking yes the web mail is faster once I got used to clicking- was having a problem with finding how to reply there- but now its ok. I just like the old way better. I finally found a an area that gave you clues to fix- only too many- also said to check out the web mail site- have no idea when this was put up-

I did have problems with some pictures in the mail, and that's probably why I kept using the web based option. I like the old way better too, but have gotten used to the web. Just like we can get used to the format for this message board compared to the old AOL boards. Sometimes the changes we have to make are not improvements, only change.
